Interview with young and ambitious Selena Gabrielle Carrillo:
Selena is absolutely young and ambitious at just 14 years old working hard to achieve her dreams. The multi-talented teen living in Atlanta considers herself a “triple-threat” within the entertainment industry as she is an Actress, Singer/Songwriter, and Dancer. Moreover at this time Selena has been casted to play the role of “Jalia” in a feature movie called Rough Patch~Twisted Fate, “Janique” in I Do, Maybe? and “Desiree” in Church Hurt. She is also host/dancer on “The Spot” dance show for tweens coming spring 2014. Beyond that she has founded a literacy program “Busy Bees Reading Program.” At such a young age it is clear Selena possesses a lot of talent and furthermore realizes the importance of inspiring and supporting others. I am actress, singer, songwriter, model & dancer.
2. What accomplishments are you most proud of, thus far?
Getting my first lead movie role in Church Hurt. I am very proud this role will show my acting skills.
4. What or who inspires your passion and drive?
Kerry Washington, Denzel Washington, inspired me as an actress.
Will-i-am, Demi Lovato, Selena Quintanilla-Perez, inspired me as a musician.
5. What keeps you motivated?
Studying and watching my favorite actress or listening to my favorite music artist that keeps me focused and motivated.
6. What is your favorite quote?

7. What are you working on NOW?
I’m working on Music EPK
8. What are your ultimate goals?
My ultimate goal is to be successful in the entertainment industry as an actress & music artist.

What is YOUR guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure is: Five Spot Frozen Yogurt Place. I put everything on my yogurt!
10. Do you have a fitness and/or health practice that is important to you?
I do 30 minutes of cardio and 200 jumping jacks, before my dance rehearsal.
