Protein pancakes are a great way to start your day! They include a reasonable amount of carbs to give you the energy needed to power through your day/morning workout. I have also made these as a post-workout snack.

There are tons of recipes out there, so I decided to play around with a few to find a unique and yummy combination.

While the ingredients are fairly basic, I find that adding the raw cacao powder really enhances the overall flavor – and one tablespoon has zero grams of sugar, about one gram of protein and only 25 calories. It’s definitely worth adding!

Once all of the ingredients for the pancakes are stirred together, you can cook them like regular pancakes! Get ready to practice your flipping, you’re going to be addicted to these!
